Pet In Need of The Week:

This is Spring.  She's a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix.  She was rescued from a backyard breeder, and is located in Boca Raton Florida.  For more information on this sweet little girl, you can visit her site directly. 

Before anyone decides on getting a pet, I urge everyone to do a little homework on the breed that your looking for.  High energy, low energy, small, big, long hair, short hair, there is a lot to think about before even stepping foot into a shelter.  You'll want to make sure that the dogs energy level matches that of your family's level.  If looking for a particular breed, Iams has a great site that tells abot each breeds specific size, temperment, energy levels, health issues, etc.  Click HERE to read more.
