Tips 2 Try Tuesday!
I think many of you may find some of these helpful tips useful! Hope you enjoy!
♦ Dirty Iron? Try rubbing the bottom of the iron with aluminum foil. The iron should be warm but not scorching.
♦ Faster Drying Time. Place three to five tennis balls into your dryer when drying clothes. This should speed up your drying time by close to 25%, and as an added benefit, you'll be fluffing the clothes as well.
♦ Gum on Clothing? Try brushing the gum with egg whites, let stand for 15 minutes, then launder the items as normal.
♦ Stuck Zipper? Try rubbing the zipper with a bar of soap then close and open zipper several times to ensure that the soap has gotten into all the groves.

If you really want to save money drying clothes, forgo the dryer completely and use a clothes drying rack. I have read that in the U.S. 6-10% of household energy bills go to drying clothes. What a simple way to save money. Not only will you save money on your utility bills, you will soon see the lifespan of your clothes lasting much longer.
