Terracycle Program!

Many people recycle their plastic, glass, and paper items.  I have also heard more and more people say that for their New Years Resloution this year they are going to start being more recycle conscience.  This got me to thinking today, just how many companies are doing what they can to recycle, and go green.  Turns out, more and more companies are coming up with creative ways to get everyone to do their part in going green. 

Aveeno, for instance has teamed up with Terracycle to get people to turn in used tubes of Aveeno for credit towards their school or organization of their choice.  Their calling it their Upcycle program!  I think this is a wonderful idea.  How does it work? 

Aveeno wants you to start an Aveeno Tube Brigade.  For every used tube of qualifying Aveeno Products that are collected and sent into Terracycle, Aveeno will donate 2 cents to your favorite organization or school! 

How do you start?  Sign up with Terracycle, register your school or organization, tell all your friends.  Once registered, Terracycle will send you prepaid collection bags that you will be able to fill, then affix the prepaid shipping label and drop off at your nearest UPS station!  That's it. Simple.  I don't know if they could make it any easier for you! 

So if going greener, and recycling is at the top of your list for the new year, this is a great way to start!  Get your Tube Brigade going today!
