Dealing With It All

I will be trying to get some much needed work done with my site today, as I am pretty much restricted to the couch.  Dealing with the Lyme Disease has been much harder than anticipated.  The soreness in all of my joints is at times too unbearable to move.  The antibiotics HAVE to be taken on an empty stomache, and are causing me to be very nausiated.   I never knew all the symptoms that Lymes Disease can cause, everything from rashes to nerve damage to bi-polar disorder.  It's known as the great imatator, and mimics many other types of conditions.  We are thinking that I have probably had this for a couple of years now.  There have been several illnesses that I have had, and when checked, everything always came back negative.  It was almost like that Ah Ha moment, when we realized that a major rash I had a year and a half ago, is most likely linked to Lyme.

The construction on our house has not yet started.  Seems insurance companies feel that they can take as long as they want when it comes to deciding when to release money.  With any luck the construction will actually begin in about 2 weeks.  The cleaning isn't yet finished, there are several small items that still need to be done.  I am hoping that once construction begins, we will begin to be able to see that light at the end of the tunnel.

Take care of yourself girl. So sorry you have to deal with this too but at the same time very glad you have a diagnosis at long last. I am betting that all of the stress has caused a major flare on top of it all.

Do what you can to shift into low gear for the moment and give your body time to heal. I'll have you in my prayers.

It pains me to have to see (or read rather) you go through this :(

This is why I've chosen to be a healer-If I can prevent people from getting this or any other preventable disease, I will!

I actually found a LLMD closer to you if your interested.

In the mean time, feel better!!

P.S. Okay, so not feel better, but take care of yourself.

You're in our prayers, B. I have a friend who's writing a book about dealing with Lyme Disease (Brandilyn Collins) and she shares a lot of the same frustrations and fear in dealing with it.
