Trapped...But Happy!

This is just to let everyone know what a week it's going to be this week.  We are finally getting the floors refinished this week, and it's definitely going to be an adventure!  We are pretty much banished to our master bedroom while the floors are drying after each coat is applied.  One coat per day, for the next three days. We have the heat cranked up to 75 in order to aid the drying process.  How are we getting out of our bedroom?  Well let's just say there is a 10 foot ladder just outside our bedroom window! 

The dogs are downstairs, the cats are in our room, and noone can walk on the floors for 6 to 8 hours, after each coat is applied.  I have had to move some snacks into our bedroom, luckily we have a bathroom attached to our room, and of coarse, my laptop!  The noise is deafening at times, how my husband can sleep through this is mind boggling! 

We just found out the the new cat also knows how to open doors!  As he has walked across the newly varnished floors, and is now trying to shake off the varnish from his paws.  I need a video camera installed n the house this week, something tells me there is going to be some laughs!
