FREE Chicken for a Year + Great Coupon Giveaway!

Perdue is right up there with some of my all time favorite brands, and now, they're even better!  With a brand new seal, that I'm sure many of you are noticing.  What's the seal all about?  Read on for all the great news!

Perdue recently announced that they are the FIRST poultry company to receive the USDA Process Verified Seal.  That means that the USDA has verified that Perdue products with this seal are from chickens that were fed an all vegetarian diet with no animal byproducts and have been raised without cages. To help announce this exciting news, we kicked off a video contest that will give the grand prize winner $4000 plus a year’s worth of free chicken!  You can watch the video about it HERE.  You can enter now through March 28th, 2011.

Imagine what you could do with a year's supply of FREE chicken! Chicken Fajita Friday's, Chicken Tetrazinni Tuesday's, or how about Chicken Soup Sunday's?

Head on over to Perdue's Verifiably Good Website, to see all the details on how to enter the contest before March 28th.

Now for the giveaway.  One lucky reader will win 5 - $5.00 coupons for Perdue Chicken! $25.00 worth of FREE chicken isn't bad either!   Here's how the coupon reads:

Save up to $5 on One package of Perdue USDA process Verified Fresh Chicken. Not to exceed $5.00. Expires 5/31/11. Coupon good only on purchase of product indicated. Limit one coupon per item purchased. Coupon is not transferable, including via electronic means.

I like that they are raised cage free. I am very concerned about animal welfare, so this is a big plus for me.
