Stop & Shop Deals for 4/1
There are a few things to mention before I get onto the upcoming weeks deals. The first, is the launch of Stop & Shop's new Mobile App. You can view all the information about it HERE. You'll be able to view the current weeks sales and circular right from your phone, as well as check on your points, and balances too. The second piece of information is that in this week's circular, they have brough back the $1.00 doublers, unfortunately there are only 3 instead of the normal 4. ( You can read more of my rant at the bottom of this post.)So here we go, on to the sickly sales:

In all actuality, I see absolutely NO good deals on Health, Beauty, Household or Pet items. I see prices much higher than they should be, and cannot tell you that something is a good deal when it's not.
**Now onto my soap box for a moment. I have witnessed Stop & Shop's biggest competitor, Shaw's close some of their stores, and Stop & Shop building new bigger stores. Stop & Shop has become too big for it's own good, which means less savings for you. Do not be fooled by their "Real Deals", do your homework, and a little math when figuring out whether or not to purchase a sale item. I used to be a big fan of Stop & Shop, and have been awarded with some gift cards, and exclusive insides on their Peapod operations in the past, Although I did receive compensation for doing previous posts, it was when they actually had deals, didn't have too many restrictions on sale prices and coupons, accepted competitor's coupons, and I completely agreed, loved, and believed in what I wrote about Stop & Shop. If I were to be asked now to write a post about Stop & Shop, I can honestly say, that I would turn it down. Stop & Shop has no real competitor right now, and they know it. What Rhode Island needs right now, is a good competitor to come into the area, so we can see competition reflected in the sale prices. Okay, I'll get off my soap box for now.
