Back To School?

Okay, I know what you're thinking.... Back to school?  Really?  For many of us, school isn't even out yet.  I know.  If you know me, you know, I am always thinking ahead, always. 

Don't get me wrong, I love the Summer months, when we don't have to wake before dawn, prepare lunches, and getting backpacks together, and spending time doing fun family things is always great.  June is a great time to start preparing, and watching for deals on clothes, stationary, folders, etc.   Before you know it, August will be over, and kids will head back to school. 

A Summertime will pass in an uneventful moment. 

Here are some tips to implement so you're purse isn't getting hit all at once come August. 

♦ Check out the weekly sales ads for your local Office Supplies Stores, Drug Stores, Target, Walmart and believe it or not Craft Stores.

♦ Be sure to visit stores like Kohl's, Target, Walmart, JC Penney, and Sears.  They will often start placing Summer & Spring shirts on clearance, often at discounts up to 80% off.  Watch your mail, as well as your favorite blog, to see when coupons for these stores come out.  Stack those coupons with the clearance items for greater savings.

♦ By purchasing items now, slowly, you'll most likely be getting more items for FREE, rather than paying sale prices come August. 

♦ Place your depp discount finds into a covered bin, and place it out of sight from the children.  Remember, these are for the next school year.  If you're purchasing clothing, place any clothing that hangs, into your closet, so they wont be tempted to wear it now. 

**Shirts are much easier to buy ahead of time, jeans or pants, on the other hand may not be worth buying early due to children's growth spurts.**
