Hill's Science Diet Age Defy Review & Giveaway!

We have 2 rescued cats, and have always had 2 to 3 cats in our home...  for the last 14 years.   When we rescue from our shelter, we always seem to rescue an adult cat.  I have absolutely nothing against kittens, I love them, however I do know that more people are willing to adopt kittens than cats, so I'd like to think I am doing my part to save a few older ones that would otherwise be never be adopted.  Plus, it's cheaper.  Cats are already spayed, and don't have to go through all of those kitten shots. 

With the latest cat that we have adopted, we have been through about a dozen different dry food brands, to which he has gotten sick with each one of them.  So when I had the opportunity to try out Hill's Science Diet Age Defying Cat Food, I jumped at the chance. 

My biggest concern when I gave him this food was, "Is he going to be sick"?  So what did I do?  I followed him around the house for the next 30 minutes.  To my surprise, no sickness!  I was pleased. 

So what's the deal with Hill's Science Diet Age Defying formula?  This food is geared toward the 11 year old cats and older.  At 7, your cat is mature, and at 11 your cat is a senior, however cats age differently just like humans do. 

With Hill's Science Diet Age Defying formula, there are controlled levels of phosphorus, magnesium, and sodium, which are all vital for bladder health.  There are increased levels of proteins and L-Carnitine to help with those waning muscles.  11 amino acids to help their heart & organs, and balanced levels of fat to reduce the risk of weight gain or weight loss that we see all too often in senior cats.
