A Call To Help

I have been doing some work with the Blue Star Moms, Rhode Island Chapter.  A group of moms, whose sons & daughters have been called to duty.  It has been an honor to help these women, and earlier today, there was a request for help. 

A simple request that will help immensely, and cost nothing more than the price of a stamp, 44¢.

Here's the request:

A request from a Blue Star mom from VA.
asking to send get well cards to a severely injured Marine who is fighting for his life with
his mother is by his side.
He is in and out of consciousness but aware that he is hurt.

Veteran's Day may have passed, but to those affected it's every day. 

I know there are so many fantastic people out there reading this blog as well as hundreds of other blogs out there, and those deal finding frugalistas that have a stockpile of cards they get for free.  Would you spare five minutes out of your day and a stamp to help to lift the spirit of this soldier who has helped to protect our Country? 

Consider it a small "Pay It Forward" this Holiday Season that has a huge effect.
