10 Ways Living with Dogs, is Like Living in a Frat House
I am a dog person. We've had 2 dogs since, well, forever. The difference between then and now, is that we never had 2 puppies. While I say puppies, I first have to add, BIG puppies. For those that aren't aware, we have a 200 lb 1 year old English Mastiff, as well as a 130 lb 7 month old English Mastiff.
Yes, they are a handful. Yes, that's a lot of dog. Yes, they eat a lot.
However, having them together now for the last 5 months, has really got me thinking, (Along with laughing, quite a bit!) that we really do now live in a "Frat House".
1. The toys are ALL broken
2. Personal boundaries, NO. LONGER. EXIST. (If the bathroom door isn't completely shut and locked, they can, and will walk right in to see what your doing.
3. There is graffiti, everywhere. Our graffiti comes in the form of wet pieces of drool that if unseen, ends up drying, and becomes industrial strength glue. What you really have to look for, are those pieces that have ended up hanging from the ceiling, ready to drop the moment you walk under them.
4. They pass out, ANYWHERE.
5. Brawls can and will break out for no apparent reason, any time, any place.
6. Someone is always trying to "hump" something. Either one another, a toy, a blanket, it doesn't matter.
7. There's a lot of vomiting.
9. Weird smells arise...hourly, that you can't quite place.
10. and finally, when it's finally bed time, it's still not quite, because they are all snoring, and loudly I might add!
That said, I wouldn't trade it for the world! They make me laugh, they make me smile, they're right there at the door to greet me, they comfort me, they are part of my family.

When I got to the hump part I did have to LOL about the Frat House comparison. They are so cute! My goodness to 200lbs! My brother has two dogs not sure what they are but they are still puppies (will a little over a year now), and I think they are as big as they are going to get at 90 lbs each. They brawl out of nowhere and it's kid of scary. I love hearing about the misbehaviors. They were putting together a 1000 piece puzzle over Christmas. They ended up throwing the puzzle away after they discovered one of the dogs was swiping puzzle pieces to eat. ~TALU
I never thought about it that way, but a frat house pretty much sums it up LOL. [#TALU]
Ew to the drool on the ceiling! Ha. And yeah, a bit like a frat house for sure. Your dogs look awesome though!

Too cute! Love it!
