Calling all Foodies! 

Bob's Red Mill Natural Foods launched its third annual Spar for the Spurtle United States Porridge Making Championship. The recipe competition calls on foodies and home cooks nationwide to submit your most creative recipes featuring Steel Cut Oats. Entrants will compete for the grand prize of a trip to Scotland to compete in the 20th annual Golden Spurtle World Porridge Making Championship on behalf of Bob's Red Mill.

As many of you are aware, I have been rebranding Brandy's Big Bargains, and going clean, green and healthy.  Bob's Red Mill is helping me do just that!  Producing some of the highest quality, gluten free, GMO free products, Bob's Red Mill items have quickly filled up many of  my cabinets.  

In an effort to engage more people, Bob's Red Mill will be giving away 5 Bob's Red Mill Gift Sets to the first 5 Brandy's Big Bargains readers who enter!  

That's right, you read correctly, 5 winners!  

The first five people who submit a video entry in the Spar for the Spurtle contest, and email me to let me know you've done so, gets a special prize pack from Bob's Red Mill. Included in the prize pack would be Bob's Red Mill's Steel Cut Oats, Scottish Oats, 7 Grain Pancake Mix and Buttermilk Pancake Mix. 

How To Enter:

If you have an original recipe that makes use of Bob's Red Mill Steel Cut Oats that you think could contend for the title, simply make a short (less than three-minute) video detailing the recipe and how to make the dish.

When your video is ready, post it to YouTube, then submit the link and required entry information via our entry page.
