Incredible Smore's "Take-Along" Mix Recipe!

While we are eating healthier, and looking for "Organic", and GMO free foods,  I'm still not there 100%, but hey, we all have to start somewhere, right?  Last week, one of my daughter's came home telling me all about a friend of hers that brought in a Smore's mix snack.  "Oh, mommy, it is SO good! Can we buy some? Please"?  

I did a little researching, and found out that Walmart carries what she was looking for, however, not the Walmart near us.  I could order it online through Amazon, but I really was not willing to open up my wallet to the tune of $24 for 6 eight ounce bags.  

So I thought, and the next day I went shopping to pick up:

Mini Marshmellows

Golden Grahams Cereal

Mini Chocolate Chips

White Chocolate

Milk Chocolate Chips (Not Shown)

This recipe was so easy to do, and tasted so good, that I'll be looking for a natural cereal to do this again with.

Lay out baking sheets lined with parchment paper, and pour a layer of cereal onto each pan.

Next, use a small handful as a guide, and sprinkle a layer of Mini Chocolate Chips.  

Now, add a layer of mini marshmellows:

In a small baggie, take about a cup of white Chocolate morsels, and slowly melt down in the microwave in 30 second increments. Once melted, cut a small corner of the baggie, and drizzle over mixture:

Now do the same with the Milk Chocolate Morsels:

Place sheets into fridge to cool, and allow the drizzled chocolate to harden.  Once harden move your mix to airtight bags and store in fridge.  

Great for parties, or a school snack!  Get even more creative and add peanut butter morsels as well to this mix!
