Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta! Mmmmm
I didn't think I was that much of a Chicken Bacon Ranch fan. I knew one of my girls was, so I decided to make this dish, and made a few adjustments to it, and come to find out, I actually loved it! Super easy to do too!
Here's what you'll need:
Ingredients:
a half chicken breast for each person
1 pound of pasta (any type will do)
a half pound of bacon cooked and chopped. (if you're running short on time, a package of real bacon bits will fit the bill!)
about an 1/8th cup of chives
1 clove of minced garlic
1 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cup milk or buttermilk
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp parsley
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 tsp dill
Directions:
In a small sauce pan, add all the spices, chives, garlic, milk and sour cream on low heat. Once everything is mixed, and heated, add cooked chicken, bacon and pasta.
Place contents into a casserole dish, and bake on 350 degrees for 15 minutes. (I took a little extra shredded cheese, and sprinkled it on top of the entire dish before baking.)
