This button belongs to "The Animal Rescue Site"  One click, and you'll donate 0.6th bowls of food to an animal shelter.  3 to 4 million animals in local shelters are put down every year to over population.  Do you have an animal that needs to be spayed or neutred?  You can find a local vet who participates in this program HERE.  Shelters need all the help they can get.  When you have coupons for FREE pet food, you can easily donate it to a shelter in need.  In fact many shelters have a list of needed items, which include, towels, plastic gloves, cotton balls, dishes, collars, leashes, paper towels, etc.  Call your local shelter to see how you can help.

This week's Pet in need of the Week is a little close to my heart.  Her name is Snowball, she is currently being housed at the Animal Defense League of Texas in San Antonio.  You can view her page directly HERE for more information.  She looks a lot like a cat we lost to an accident a few years ago.
