In Case You Missed This...
I was having some issues with this new website yesterday and many of you couldn't get to the page to view. Well it's now up and running as a dot com. Here is our press release:
Re ♦ New ♦ Nique is an up and coming store with a planned grand opening of October, 2010. We are a small store dedicated to supporting local artists, and our local communities. With so many products going overseas, and so many US jobs being lost, we want to bring back the “local”.
Being green is a top priority with many people today. We are becoming more self-conscience of what and how we are leaving the planet for future generations. More and more people are reusing items, buying used, and looking for that hard to find handmade item that would make for a perfect gift.
Why pay for a necklace that was shipped in from 3000 miles away? Why not buy local, get that unique, one of a kind necklace from an artist who lives right in your own backyard? Not only would you be supporting your community, but you would also be reducing your own carbon footprint. How? Well that purchase you made at Re ♦ New ♦ Nique means that the product you bought, wasn’t trucked in from thousands of miles away, and most likely was made by reusing old or recycled items. Even our shopping bags are made from recycled products!
Right now we are looking for local artists who are interested in being showcased in our store. We have pricing levels that will accommodate all levels of budgets, from the smallest of artists to larger artists. If you’ve always dreamed of owning your own store, but just can’t afford it, you may find that our prices are just right for you to be able to get your products out there to the buying public. Use this Artist Submission form to submit for consideration into our gallery.
