To My Readers....

As many of you know, my family and I have been through a lot in the last 9 months, from job loss, to surgeries, to a house fire, and flooding, Lymes Disease, and now most recently a serious case of Poison Ivy.  Many of you have helped us financially, as well as helping me to replace my coupon stach, to well wishes, to supplying us with emergency health & beauty supplies.  Again we cannot thank you enough.

As you are most likely aware, I am not one that can sit still for too long, I have ideas, and projects going on here and there.  I am still working on my fire emergency list, and help guide.   Mix that in with taking care of two kids, a couple of dogs, a cat, doctor appointments, and dealing with a contractor, insurance company, and the insurance adjuster, and well, you would think that there couldn't possibly be enough time in the days for anything else.

You would be wrong.  My husband and I are opening our own store.  It is in the beginning stages, but this has been a long time dream of ours, and until recently we weren't sure just what type of store we wanted to open.  As I had said in previous posts, having a life changing event like a house fire, makes you stop and think, especially when so many people seem to come from everywhere and help us out.

We will be obtaining permits, and licences in the next couple of weeks, and looking at locations this week, so our plates will be quite full.  I will however still be posting all the great freebies and deals that I always do.

This store will be called Re♦New♦Nique, which will be supporting local artists, and locally made products, recycled products, and antiques.    We have already registered a domain name, and have started working on that website as well.  If you live in the RI, CT, or MA area, and have a special artistic talent, head on over to our new site, and see what we are all about.

Oh good luck to you and Jon Paul! RI certainly needs more small businesses and I know you have the drive to make this work. Congrats

Wow! I admire your determination! I'm starting to realize that Lymies are some of the most determined, strong willed people I know.

I wish you and your family nothing but luck with this new adventure :)
