The Knights On Iron Horses Have Come!

I cannot tell you the size of the smile on my face right now!  The electric company trucks have finally showed up, 6 huge trucks in total.  Cheering, doesn't begin to explain the neighborhood at this very moment. 

As the trucks were entering the street, absolutely everyone appeared from the front doors, began smiling, cheering and jumping up and down. 

And then to finally see the bucket trucks go up, was, in my mind priceless. 

It was inevitable that we would be getting the electricity back today.  I knew this, as I was paying $82 for gasoline, for the borrowed generator...  Murphy's Law stikes again.  This time, however, I will welcome him with open arms, while we turn on our lights in the house for the first time since 7am Sunday Morning. 

Jokingly, I told the supervisor that I would be bringing my dog down, and would be using him as leverage, and not let anyone leave until the power was fully restored. He laughed, and asked if I was talking about the horse at the front door!

I simply said, Yes, all 200 pounds of him! (I expect the power to come on shortly!)
