Nutrisystem Nation Update
I have been on Nutrisystem now for several weeks, and I have to say, it's really not as hard as I thought it was going to be. I think the worst part was the first week and a half, getting used to a "Real" portion size. Now, well now the portion sizes don't bother me one bit, in fact they even fill me up!
I only lost a pound this week, but I really haven't been exercising, as I have been trying to let my ankle heal from a slight re injury I did coming off the ladder last week. I am however, not going to let myself get disappointed, a pound is better than no pounds right?
The good news, is that I am down a total of 8 pounds, and the biggest lesson that I am learning, is that losing weight, takes work. Controlling your portion sizes, when you're not used to real portion sizes takes work, in the beginning.
I have found myself, on the 2 days a week that I eat regular food with my family, that I am conscience of limiting the size of the meals. No longer are we filling up the plates with pasta. The majority of the plates contain vegetables like mushrooms, squash, and peppers.
One of the best features of the Nutrisystem program that I am loving, is I am not depriving myself of a single food. I actually look forward to lunchtime, when I am eating a nice salad with one of their chocolate bars! Yes, chocolate! It's not that fake chocolate either, it's creamy, milky chocolate!
To date, I have found just one dinner that I really wasn't that crazy about, which was the cheese ravioli, but there are so many other great dishes that I didn't mind. (The oriental beef was a great replacement!)
Want to join me in getting healthy, and lose some weight? Join me today by calling 1-888-853-4689 or by visiting Nutrisystem.
Disclosure: Nutrisystem will be providing me with support and food for the next four months as compensation.
