Still Waiting For Power

We are going on day three now without power. Ice and gas are the hot commodities everywhere, and we have once again tossed everything we had from the fridge.

The electric company have been sending out automated messages, letting us know that our power may not be on until the weekend.

I am only able to get a post or two up in the morning, from my cell phone. In fact, I am, at this very moment writing this post from my truck in the driveway. (This is the only place I am able to charge my phone.)

My feeling is that we will most likely be one of the last streets to get our power back, as we have have two telephone/electric poles come completely down during the storm. So I am assuming they are working their way from least hit to most hit areas.
