The Transformation...

If you've been following my blog, you already know that we have had big plans this year with the outside of our home.  Having had the inside our home completely redone from top to bottom because of the fire, we felt the outside really needed to match the beauty of the inside.  Because we were fortunate enough not to lose any life in our fire, just material possessions, we are now at the point were we can say the fire was not only an eye opener, but a blessing. 

We have finally reached the three quarter way mark, and the ability to visualize the rest of the house getting done has never seemed more clear. 

There's still one side left of the house to scrape, prime and paint.  Unfortunately it's the one side of the house that has sun hitting it pretty much the entire day, so our time window is very small, at least while the heat is here.  Being that as it may, we have decided to move onto the garden beds, and bushes.  After just three FULL days of hard work on ALL our parts, myself, hubby and the girls here is the outcome of the front of our home...

Looks like a completely different house.  Our neighbors have all commented on just how nice it looks, and have been asking were we purchased the plants, stars, the mailbox etc. 

Today, we will be working on removing the bushes from the driveway side of the house, so I'm off to go and buy some plants, brush killer, and lawn bags...
