Best Beef Teriyaki
No need to order Chinese for scrumpteous Beef Teriyaki! I've been trying to make, not only a good teriyaki, but a great teriyaki. After about 4 or 5 tries, I finally found the best beef, the best sauce, and a great easy way to make this as a Main Course Dinner!
Here's what you'll need:
Bottom Round Roast
Teriyaki Sauce
Soy Sauce
a large cookie sheet with edges
a very sharp knife
First you'll need to start out with a bottom round roast.
You'll want to slice this entire roast into very thin slices. I sliced mine in several directions, and found that it didn't really matter which way you sliced them, as these are not going to be placed on skewers. Some butchers will do this for you free of charge, so ask your local butcher if they custom cut, it'll save you about 20 minutes of time, and a sore arm!
Place sliced beef into a bowl, and a 1 cup of Soy Sauce and 1 cup of Teriyaki Sauce. Place bowl in Fridge for 2 - 3 hours.
Once you're ready to cook, place slices onto a large cookie sheet.
Cover with foil, and bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 20 minutes.
It was some of the best Beef Teriyaki we have had, and was a complete hit with the whole family. This went great with Rice Pilaf, and mixed vegetables.
