Triple B's Couponing for Community Update

We've got a great update for everyone regarding Brandy's Big Bargains donation for the Couponing for Community event that takes place May 8th through May 14th this year. 

We are up to 95 items thus far that will be trucked over to the RI Food Bank on May 13th!  We are hoping to be able to fill the entire bed of our truck with donations of food, household, and health & beauty items. 

We're still a long way from the goal, but I have a good feeling that we'll be hitting that goal of ours! 

I have read many articles recently debating the using of coupons, the pros, the cons the time involved, the list goes on.  I can't think of a better pro, than this... The items pictured above cost me a total of $9.57.  For less than $10 I have filled 8 shopping bags filled with items that are needed at the local food bank. 

This year, Couponing for Community means a lot more to me than it did last year.  As many of you are aware my family experienced a house fire, and we literally lost all of our belongings, and our stockpile.  Bloggers, and readers a like from all over the country helped us out by sending us donations that we needed.  This year we are paying it back, and in a big way.
