Ice Cream Happy Hour?? Oh Yeah!
It just sounds delicious.
Ice cream.
Happy hour.
Why didn't anyone think of this sooner?
I received this book in the mail a few days ago, and it's taken me until now to stop making these delicious recipes. My girls have been going nuts, because they want some.
"Sorry honey, it's an adult treat. You can't have this, but there's cookies in the cupboard." And I get the look of complete sarcasm as they walk out of the kitchen with disgust.
~ I will have to make it up to them somehow.
Anyway. With the holidays fast approaching, this is a must for your next get together. Fun, different, eye pleasing, and a definite tastebud pleaser, it will be a hit with jst about everyone. Well everyone that's of legal age.
This isn't a "take Oreo Ice Cream, and pour Vodka over it." cocktail book either. No this is a make your own ice cream from scratch, and add the spirits before you freeze it cookbook! I honestly don't tink I have seen another cook book quite like this one. It's definitely not your grandmother's cook book! With 6 different chapters, each one sounding better than the next, it's hard to decide on which one to create first. I opted for the "Strawberry with Vodka" first. The hardest part was waiting.
Surprisingly, it's not that difficult to make your own ice cream either. I was really amazed at just how easy it really was.
So whether you want to wow your guests at your next party, or just try a little something different, I highly recommend trying a one or two... or a few of these delectible desserts.
It's available through all your retail book stores, or you can order a copy at Amazon.
eBooks more your liking?
**Disclosure: I was sent a copy of the Ice Cream Happy Hour to read, and review as compensation.
