Incredible Chocolate Chip Cookies!
We've been doing quite a bit of baking lately, well mostly one of my daughters has caught the "baking" bug.
After tweaking, and tweaking an old recipe I had, I think we finally have the perfect recipe for the most moist, thick chewy chocolate chip cookies. Ever.
And now, I'm going to share it with all of you!
Ingredients:
2 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
Plus an additional 2 Tablespoons All Purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 Cup unsalted Butter, at room temperature
1 Cup Brown Sugar
3/4 Cup Sugar
1 Teaspoon Real Vanilla (you can use imitation, but the real stuff is so much better!)
2 Large Eggs
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 1/4 cups Chocolate morsels
Directions:
In a mixer, combine all the dry ingredients, Flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, brown sugar, and sugar.
Once the dry mixture has been combined, crack two eggs into a separate bowl. ( I do this so if I break a piece of the shell, it's very easy to remove it before adding the eggs into the dry mixture.)
Add Eggs, Vanilla, and Butter into mixer and combine thoroughly with the dry mixture. Once the wet and dry ingredients have been combined, add the chocolate chip morsels.
Use a cookie scooper and place 2 inches apart on a baking sheet. Place into a 350 degree oven for approximately 15 minutes. Depending on your oven, they make cook slightly quicker or slower.
Makes approximate 18 cookies
