Weekly Dairy: Look Who We Will Be Welcoming in a Few Weeks!

In just a few weeks, (October 13th) we will be welcoming Mastiff number 2 to our family!  His name is Dreamfield's Boon's Golden Flounder.  He's a BIG boy!  In fact, they are saying most likely BIGGER than his older brother, Dreamfield's Boon's Golden Otter:  (Who at 7 months old now weighs 115 pounds!)

Mastiffs really are like potato chips, you can't have just one!  Our love of Mastiffs began just 5 short years ago when we welcomed our Boon into our home and hearts.

We lost our Boon this past February, when our house caught fire.  He is devastatingly missed, each and every day, which is the reason behind Otter & Flounder's full names, "Boon's Golden". 

 

...and in case you're wondering where the names have come from, I'll tell you...  They are all nicknames given to the frat guys in the movie Animal House!
